As far as metal goes, Suicide Silence's cover of "Them Bones". The guitarists can't follow the time signature change and don't even sound like they're tuned, the solo is awful, and the excellent vocals from the original are replaced with your typical deathcore crap. Layne Staley is turning in his grave as we speak.
But the absolute nadir is "Girls with Attitude", which is a bunch of preteen girls with no idea what rhythm or melody is, singing utterly insipid lyrics over what sounds like a completely randomized (and inaudible) computer-generated beat. Exactly what I thought. Musically, to say that he is not capable at all and completely deaf to what sounds decent is a major understatement. At first I thought it was all a big joke but it turns out that he takes himself pretty seriously.
A friend posted it on facebook and since the guy in the videos is also from Melbourne, I thought I'd check out some local "talent".
