Written by Bad English on 18.06.2014 at 15:43 Nope. because the 'ch' in the Scottish Loch is pronounced like the Dutch 'G' which Arab als has as a sound and I am extremely sure that the guy who thought up Agalloch didnt have sound in mind but actually 'lock' instead of 'loX'. So certainly not pronounced as the Scottish /ˈlɒx/ but as the Irish /ˈlɒk/
