I can't really say I'm surprised. A comedy band winning with their version of a song by another artist. This is pretty much par for the course for Grammy awards in the metal category.

Well, I could be(or must be only) one of them from MS who set up alarm clock at 5 in morning, got up, saw Madonna performing, yawned, then saw Best Rock Act goes to Paramore(deserves) and next up was best metal act which went to Testicles D. Immediately shut the whole damn thing, opened up porn site, wanked and slept.

I shouldn't have wake up. Will never see Grammy's again.

I rather watch Grammys than listen to Metallica.It is the same shit anyway

"The Last In Line" is a very good song but "Grammy For Best Metal Performance"!!!

Beck solo produced his own album on which he performed vocal, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano, organ, synthesizer, electric bass, tambourine, ukelele, celeste, dulcimer, harmonica, glockenspiel, "sound collage" (whatever the fuck that is) as well as handled other orchestral arrangements.

It's not like who cares, for some artists it is more than anything they ever live upon. Even metal artists loves to get on Grammys stage and give a crappy acceptance speech.

I love metal for I can find some in-dependency in their arts and if they want to act out like pop /rock stars then fuck it.

It makes sense that something from the album (RJD - This Is Your Life) would win, but not this one...

Scorpions "The Temple of the King" was realy good. "Straight theough the heart" by Halestorm was really cool too.

I would agree with the others, definitely not the song off the album that should've won.

I thought it was a very good cover of the song and was surprized how respectful it was....but that isn't enough to be performance of the year.

surprised at how respectful? Jack Black loves Sabbath/Dio. Dio even appeared in a vid of theirs.



agree not song of the year, and even if their schtick is comedic, their love of rock/metal is real.
