Yep, I had nothing better to do today, so I made this quiz. It's part science fiction, part philosophical, all cool. http://www.quizfarm.com/test2.php?q_id=312968 So how do you view the universe? Vote in the poll when you're through.

Ok, nice one. What I missed though was the option of 'I don't know', because sometimes I didn't know anything of a certain matter and I had to fill in something. But I'm whining, I couldn't do it better. I got: Modern Scientific Universe. You see the world as current science does, both a limitation and a liberation. There are plenty of wonders to be explored out there without putting up with superstitions. However, it seems all other options were quite close: Modern scientific universe 53% Lovecraftean chaos 48% A galaxy far, far away 48% Sci-fi universe 48% Mythological / religious universe 29%

You scored as Lovecraftean chaos. Mankind is insignificant and doomed and you know it. If there is life out there, then it's probably hostile. It's unlikely our mammalian brains could percieve these great mysteries and remain sane after doing so. Lovecraftean chaos 62% Sci-fi universe 43% Modern scientific universe 38% A galaxy far, far away 33% Mythological / religious universe 24% i dunno why's the sci-fi univers on second place; anyways, i like the explanation.

A nice quiz. I scored as A galaxy far, far away. All in all: A galaxy far, far away 67% Modern scientific universe 62% Sci-fi universe 48% Lovecraftean chaos 43% Mythological / religious universe 43% I'd say it fits my way of thinking quite well, too. Quote: I still wouldn't say I am actually that near a Modern scientific universe. Oh well.

Somehow these test are good when you're very bored at least it works with me.

Modern scientific universe 57% A galaxy far, far away 33% Sci-fi universe 29% Lovecraftean chaos 24% Mythological / religious universe 19% This result was obvious, as I consider myself a man of science, but this still doesn't mean that we have to exclude philosophy from the big picture.

The creations of science fiction authors are often more than just products of an active imagination - at least you seem to think so. Who can disprove alien abductions, who can reveal the government's conspiracies? Sci-fi universe 71% Mythological / religious universe 62% Modern scientific universe 52% A galaxy far, far away 48% Lovecraftean chaos 43% Well, I don't believe that the US or the former USSR governments have wrecked spaceships or dead alien bodies, but I do believe in life in other planets.
