BLADECATCHER Obverse EP out April 13th via EEE Recordings!

Bladecather's Obverse EP has a primarily orthodox, almost primitive Death Metal sound/structure and hints of technicality. It's a fucking mammoth, well written chunk of dark and twisted death, by a guy who can play the hell out of his instruments. Every riff is blazing fast and incredibly addictive, so much so you'll surely run through this EP three times in a row without difficulty.

After the demise of the decade long musical excursion known as Njiqahdda, main songwriter E. had a burning desire to create the heaviest, most crushing music that he could. In that desire, Bladecatcher was born. Created in late 2014 (and recorded in 2015), the debut "Obverse" showcases uncompromising, unapologetic and utterly crushing death metal. In April 2015, it was announced that Abbath ex-Immortal frontman, had recruited members to the band, specifically King Ov Hell from God Seed and drummer Creature to participate in the band. He also recruited Vredehammer guitarist and vocalist Per Valla to tour with the band as lead guitarist. However, in December of 2015 it was announced that the Norwegian session member Per Valla had left the band for personal reasons.
Sitting on many songs and riffs of his own Per Valla decided to launch his new project, simply titled VALLA. With this new project Per Valla reveals his talent in mixing Scandinavian Black Metal filled with poise, imagination, and craft with haunting atmospheric passages throughout.If you're looking for a monumental, atmospheric, appealing and unique Black Metal act, you should certainly keep your attention directed at this great project. VALLA will be releasing tracks and songs periodically throughout the coming days. Through a hazy cloud of heavy blues inspired riffs, comes the sonic assault of Iron Jawed Guru, unleashing a soundtrack fitting for an acid-tripping gang of bikers laying rubber on an open highway.
The effort is a 7 song, 25 minute, instrumental onslaught, displaying a creative touch on the psychedelic stoner-rock formula that bands like Clutch and Kyuss made popular in the 90's.
Mata Hari was released on CD and digitally through Grimoire Records on January 29th, 2016.

About plans for some live appearances for VALLA in the future, Per Valla says: "I have decided i will do live shows with Valla in the future. This i will do with myself on vocals and guitar (of course) and a drummer (session) simply because there HAS to be a drummer on the stage to provide the right energy and sound for the audience. -In other words I will do what many bands are doing these days, use backing tracks for synth and bass...adding session musicians for all the instruments would kind of be like having dancers onstage just for the visual effect, wouldn't it?"

Greek Death Doomers IMMENSITY have released an official music video for the song "The Sullen" from their upcoming album "The Isolation Splendour" due for release Monday March 21 through Hypnotic Dirge Records and Solitude Productions.

The Isolation Splendour features five brand new lengthy tracks with a run-time of around 48 minutes, and includes two tracks from their The Lonely Aquarelle demo as bonus, so that the entire band discography will be included. In total, the run-time is approximately 68 minutes, so expect a comprehensive slab of atmospheric and melodic death-doom.
