In This Moment have released a new video! Directed by their very own singer Maria Brink, the official music video for "Sex Metal Barbie" is available for your viewing pleasure/or displeasure below. The song appears on Black Widow, their latest album released last year. Century Media also recently released their greatest hits collection, Rise Of The Blood Legion - Greatest Hits (Chapter 1).

Maria Brink explained: "I really wanted this video to convey that other people's perceptions of us are just their own twisted and warped views. I wanted a sarcastic and delusional visual to bring this video alive. Lastly I want to thank all the people who feel compelled to express negativity toward us for all the inspiration. I couldn't have done it without them."

Watched it with the sound off for the "plot". Surprisingly very little for an In This Moment video about sex. Song is bad, iv'e heard it before on Octane.

Hey now, Century Media still releases good music too. I wholeheartedly doubt that the band themselves are less to blame for this garbage than the label.

jajaja xd, so this video is totally for you xd, I only found some good songs, but none of their albums are a "masterpiece".. Still I like them, mainly because Maria Brink and her "clean screams"

To me, it's simple: If this band had a male singer - even if he only sounded exactly the same - they'd be absolutely unheard of. Maybe a few hundred FB fans. The vast amount of their popularity I can guarantee comes form the fact that they have a barbie doll looking lead singer who screams. Too gimmicky for me. I mean, hell, even Babymetal plays decent music.

I agree with what you say about Babymetal xd, and yeah, the band without Maria would be unknown and awful to hell.
