Blackfield - Steven Wilson & Alan Parsons On Next Album

Good news were promised, and good news were delivered by Aviv Geffen, mastermind of Blackfield, earlier today. It seems that both Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree, ex-Blackfield) and Alan Parsons will be featured in the next Blackfield album. The band has posted a photo from a February 2015 recording session for album number #5, with no extra information given about which capacity they are participating in. It will also re-introduce the co-operation between successful Englishman Steven Wilson and Israeli Aviv Geffen in an album.

You will do well to remember that last year Wilson announced his departure from Blackfield to focus on his solo career.

Odds are that Alan Parsons is just the recording engineer just like in The Raven That Refused to Sing.
