Hey Metalstorm, One of the questions in the MetalQuiz had an interesting sound clip in it (it was from a Swedish band in their 'death metal era') which began with a sample of a Scottish man saying "'c'mon Captain..." and then went into a standard 12 bar blues swing section. I didn't know who the band was (I'd ask for help but don't know if spoiling MetalQuiz questions is allowed) but it got me thinking: Have you heard any instances of the 12 bar blues structure in extreme (or otherwise) metal? I'd be interested to hear who has used it in their songs. Thanks!

Not extreme, but Motorhead's You Better Run uses of the 12 bar blues format.
