I wanted to know which are your other favorite musical genres out side metal (if you have any), and if you may want to comment why.
I didn't create a poll so it could be more open, besides I wouldn't be able to fill all the possible genres, so...
Ok, so, just feel free to discuss this and tell what you think

My favorite music these days include grime which is hip hop from the UK primarily influenced from garage and drum n' bass. I'm also digging dubstep which is also originally from the UK. The music can be described as a cross between industrial, ambient and drum n' bass.

I listen to a lot of stuff besides metal (lately that's all I'm doing)... one genre, huh... it might be hard rock but since I don't find it THAT different... I'll say it's trance music. Mainly from the Netherlands.

I would say Post-Rock due to bands like Mono and Three Steps to the Ocean , I also immensely enjoy Coldplay and some Jazz and Blues and Sax Jazz , Also Ray Charles Some Arabic Folk especially my hometown legend Sabah Fakhri

Written by Guest on 08.09.2010 at 10:14 Those aren't really rock 'n' roll. Artists like Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry are rock 'n' roll. Although the term is nowadays synonymous with rock music in general (bands use it in their songs like crazy), it originated from blues, country and gospel.
