Iron Maiden - Release Preview Of New Song
Can't wait to hear the new Iron Maiden album? The wait has been long since 2010's The Final Frontier but now the iconic band is about to release a double album, The Book Of Souls. To whet the appetite of their fans even more, a 30-second preview of a new Iron Maiden song from the band's forthcoming album has been released and is now available in the YouTube clip below.
Also, as of now, The Book Of Souls can be pre-ordered right here. Don't forget that the release date is set for the 4th of September through Parlophone Records (Sanctuary Copyrights/BMG in the U.S.A.).

What I hear in this preview definitely sounds like Maiden, even though it really doesn't give us much to go on. Based on reading about how they just went into the studio and started jamming together, instead of over thinking everything this time, I believe this album is going to be raw, liquid Iron Maiden in it's purest form. With that being said, if you're expecting them to change the world and metal as we know it with this album, you've got another thing comin'. IMHO, same old same old is good in certain cases...Iron Maiden is one of those cases. So...UP THE IRONS!

Too short to get an accurate idea, but as always with Maiden I have my hopes. Their most recent albums featured some boring moments but there were also worthy stuff in them, we'll see what this one brings. And as posted above, they won't change the metal scene at this point, but I'm sure that at least they can still deliver a good album.
