Gear is perfectly fine for small incline. I park that way at home for 16 years. And I don't park on steep incline anyway, nobody should unless no other way.
Haha. No, why would I? As I said I'm not starstruck. Had the chance last spring to get a pic with Karl Sanders when Nile played in town but didn't ask him
Not saying that you'll hate them if you love prog, but these are bands that don't take themselves too seriously and frequently avoid prog cliches that turn people away from the genre like overly long, unstructured songs with pretencious lyrics. Basically any band that can keep a good fun rock n' roll attitude. For example:
Prog Bands for People who love Prog:
Dream Theater
Rush
Ne Obliviscaris
Aryeon
Opeth
Between the Buried and Me
Prog Bands for People who hate Prog:
Devin Townsend Band
Porcupine Tree
Toe Hider
Coheed and Cambira
Mastodon (post-Crack the Skye)
Tarby
I gave some non-metal bands in the list, but I'm looking more for metal bands, not just neo-prog bands with some metal influence. Many bands like Tool or Savatage I'm not quite sure if the belong in this category, so I'd also like some thoughts on those. If you personally hate prog but like some bands labled as progressive, feel free to share them.
There are many such bands from USA what are cool from mid 90's specially prog
This is hard to judge, need hear whole album , but song is awesome, can not find whole piece

I stand whit Ukraine and Israel. They have right to defend own citizens.

Hmmh, I am not really that much big of a prog fan but I think some of Katatonia's albums such as The Fall of Hearts or Dead End Kings are good for this. It's soft prog but it's still a little prog.
Maybe I would go more into depth mentioning The Contorsionist --> Language 1&2 is such a good introduction to this genre.
And last but not least, Sleep Token, not the last releases, but the album "This place Will become your tomb'
Also some credits to VOLA. They can also be good for people who are good on this.
So yeah, these are some bands that are prog but are quite enjoyed by someone who doesn't really like prog.
Would Hakken or Soen fit here? Just getting into Soen; gives me lots of Tool vibes.
I don't know about Haken, they can get quirky at times.
Soen were a Tool pastiche on their first couple albums. They might fit with the non-prog crowd (for lack of a better word).
