Killing Joke - Announce New Album, Stream Song
Two years ago, the mighty Killing Joke have announced that a new album was in the works to follow MMXII. And now the fruits of their labor will take the form of Pylon. The new album will be released on October 23rd via Spinefarm Records and can already be pre-ordered here. This is the third in a triptych of albums, Absolute Dissent, MMXII and now Pylon. You can expect heavy and uncompromising, bleak dystopian lyrics, as well as lots of black pain emotion. To start the fires, here's the first track "I Am The Virus" below. What are you waiting for? Well, killing Joke mastered a long time ago tha art of making non-boring repetitive songs, so that's not a problem for me. So, not a really surprising song (I also felt a "Hosannas" vibe in it), but a good one for me!

Should prove to be solid. Not expecting them to blow Minds or drop a game changer at this point. Not like they have anything left to prove anyway. If anything I guess I have somewhat low expectations going into this one, the last two were good, but it just seems they're getting kind of complacent musically now.
