Sabaton - Frontman Loses Drunken Bet, Must Walk To Next Show
And now for something a little bit different. Sabaton is playing the Trondheim Metal Fest, which takes place between October 1st and 3rd. While the rest of the band will be getting to the show by other means of transportation from their hometown of Falun in Sweden, frontman Joakim Brodén will be walking. The frontman lost a drunken bet with the rest of the band and has to walk to Trondheim in Norway (552 km)! While some would back down, he is actually doing it.
Here's what he had to say about the long trek, which he's already begun: "I will not go into details on exactly what happened, but I can say that it was fun and a bit silly. It started out almost as a joke, but it evolved to be quite serious. Now I will take a few days rest. I have made contact with some fans via Facebook, who have provided me with food and shelter."

Written by Marcel Hubregtse on 22.09.2015 at 23:53 its possible, since he do sing and shows, singing and jumping like this is hard, and he do gym work out, I think he is fit, but same time walking like this, I didn't see bag whit food and water. gym and gigs is one, walking another, I know many ppl who are gym people, but are tired after 5km walk, I be dead in gym, but I do forest walk in a summer 10-20km every week (not this only once because of work) but in a gym I will be dead.... maybe you're right and its still long way to walk. Al can happens... there are bears and wolves ... they like eat people LOL
