Looking forward to the New record. Some people are being put off by the apparent industrial and techno influences, But it has done nothing but peaked my interest, Its good to see the band trying new things this late into their career rather than just sit down and release the same stuff over and over, Even if the album is bad it will be interesting one way or another.

But it's not the kind of stuff fans always expect from a band such as Morbid Angel. I prefer them to do the same music they've always done rather than to be innovative and taking the high risk to shit all over their legacy. In my opinion, there're such bands that can't ever release a certain kind of stuff. And Morbid Angel is one of those bands.

By the way, I have listened to some short samplers of the album and they sound just like crap. Definitely I'm not willing to listen to this.

Morbid Angel have had some relatively experimental moments on previous albums as well, though. Certainly with some of their instrumental tracks (some of which have been great, some of which have been dodgy). Maybe the new album will have 'gone too far' in exploring other stuff, we don't know yet.. but my point is, the band does have a history for trying out different ideas from time to time.

Death metal is a genre that lets you more or less freedom for experimental stuff, you can be innovative aswell, but this is just uninspired pseudo-modern metal music. In my opinion, this shouldn't have been released as a Morbid Angel album, but maybe as a joke side project.

Despite what I said earlier I have to agree with you now, I am all for bands experimenting but after hearing some of the song samples I have the feeling i am really not going to like this album it sounds almost too different.

I knew from the very moment I heard some of the new album songs that someone was going to make the classic hitler rage... I udnerstand it. Specially for those who pre-ordered the fancy box... What a waste because it looks fucking awesome but it's not worth it if the album just sucks.

I have to agree with Hitler on something... We have at least an Autopsy album and it's cool

I don't what David Vincent is like nowadays, but back in the day he was a fervent white power supporter. Just check his thanks list on Altars Of Madness and Blessed Are The Sick and if you're familiar with the big guys in the US white power movement at thw time you'll see what I mean

That Hitler video is awesome, although I like Steve Tucker and I think he would've made this album better than fucking David Vincent. Looks like I will have to check out the new Autopsy

As a funny coincidence, I was just watching a Formulas era interview with Trey, where he expresses his feelings towards Vincent's wp/nazi sympathies near the end. Ironically, the whole tone of that interview also seems to be quite at odds with MA's current direction.

That was a good interview! I never saw him interviewed before, seems like a really down to earth cool guy
Sad that he took part of the creation of such a meh album.

Listened to the new album yesterday. "Kill a cop"......."Kill a cop".... How can they even think of writing this kind of lyrics??!? RADIKULT is the worst thing I've heard from a Death Metal band. This album as a "whole" album sucks. But there actually are some tracks that can be listened to separately. For example Existo Vulgoré and 10 more dead arn't that bad... I like the guitar solos on them also.

But as a album, I think it sucks penis.

Well, perhaps not! But that line is clearly "killer cult" and not "kill a cop", so the people who think it's "kill a cop" are probably swayed by the negative reviews/responses on the net that have misheard that line and made a big deal out of it. If someone thought it was "I eat eggs" and posted it in a review, then maybe some people would assume it was right! IMO, the point is that people are too quick to dismiss the album based on other people's opinions, rather than listening to it properly...
