Death - 'Scream Bloody Gore' Deluxe Reissue Announced

Relapse Records has announced the final chapter in the comprehensive Death reissue series: the legendary 1987 debut Scream Bloody Gore. The album is due out on a wide variety of formats this coming May 20th and has been newly remastered for this reissue. Like the preceding Death reissues, the deluxe reissue of Scream Bloody Gore has been meticulously remastered from the original tapes by Alan Douches (Death, Mastodon, Nile) and includes a plethora of bonus content, including previously unreleased recordings and rehearsal demos, super-expanded packaging, and brand-new extensive liner notes from former Death drummer/Autopsy founder Chris Reifert, Sepultura's Max Cavalera, and original Scream Bloody Gore producer Randy Burns.

Stream the newly remastered version of the always fun "Zombie Ritual" below and you can pre-order the release here.

Also, the very first official Death bobblehead has been presented. It is a recreation of Ed Repka's iconic Scream Bloody Gore album art. Made exclusively for Relapse Records by AGGRONAUTIX, a company creating limited-edition metal, punk, and cult figures, these collectible, high-quality resin figurines stand 7″ tall, are hand numbered 1 to 1,000, and come packaged in a custom windowed box. You can purchase it over here.

Ok, ordinarily I think these reissuing/deluxe edition things are complete and total unnecessary crap, but that Scream Bloody Gore bobblehead actually is pretty damn cool and could even be worth purchasing. Forget the 12409501029502940291025902390590300000434142124666th reissuing, that's what's really interesting about this newspiece

That bobblehead is mint.
But I'm holding out for "Human"

Rehearsal tracks are useless.
Demos can be fine sometimes, depending on the quality, but rehearsals always sound like shit.

I looked for it sometime ago on Amazon.FR Marketplace and there was nothing except for expensive second-hand albums, but good to know. Nevertheless I will wait for the new reissue which will hopefully be of good quality, as the previous Death reissues by Relapse were.

How do the remastered reissues sound? Anyone know which versions of their releases have been the best? I tend to go with the originals where possible
