Devin Townsend will continue to bring us wacky music with their new album, Transcendence. Today, we get to check out the record's first details. In the last few months, the band has been hard at work recording and the tracks are now sent off to be mastered. The worldwide release date is set for September 2nd in various formats and you can try to figure out the new album front cover below.

In other news, touring news, Devin Townsend just announced a dream North American tour in support of the new album. The majority of dates will see them co-headline with Between The Buried And Me (performing Coma Ecliptic in its entirety) and thus the tour has been aptly named Transcending The Coma Tour. Fallujah will support on all dates.
