French industrial black metal icon Blut Aus Nord recorded a split EP with the American extreme metal duo Ævangelist. The album entitled Codex Obscura Nomina will see the light of day on June 17th though Debemur Morti Productions. Wow, the production is really bad. Or perhaps it's the stream, I dunno. It kinda suits the BAN side. The Aevangelist on the other hand... I can't even hear the background effects properly

The AEvangelist side and the opener track are perfect! What AEvangelist did is more of a unique combination of former BaN sound with artistic touch of American duo!

The BAN side is good, but nothing mind blowing. And let's face the facts, the only really worthwhile album by AE was their debut. Everything else is just meh in comparison :[
