Title says it all: bands everyone expects you to like that you simply don't like. Can be metal, but I was thinking non-metal.

I don't like Eric Clapton. I've heard white men play the blues and I'm not saying it can't be done, it's just that Eric Clapton sounds like a white man playing the blues. Plus, his songs are just bleh. Cocaine? Yawn.

Another big one for me? Elton John. Why do they have to play this every fucking time I go to the grocery store?



This guy's a freakin' knight!! That's the definition of overrated right there. Queen Elizabeth has some shitty taste in music.

All of the early heavy metal/hard rock scene, really.
Listened to one or other song of the most popular bands. Never listened to say Priest, Pantera, Maiden whatever.

Funny thing is that every fellow metalhead I meet expects me not only to have heard the entire disco but know the songs by their titles. I don't even know the titles of the songs I actually listen to, let alone the lame classics =p
