But that's true I missed Converge at that time (or was it Within Temptation ?).

I broke a bone in my left hand due to a fall after Emperor on Sunday night. Baz was there and saw me fall flat on my face and hand.
Luckily no plaster needed, and the pain is alright, it just feels numb. But still, old people seem to break bones much easier than other people.

Ah well it was worth it all.

Unfortunately reality kicks in at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning when I have to work again. But luckily can escape it once again tomorrow night when I am going to Cynic in the 013 club in Tilburg being supported by Detonation and first an interview with CYnic at 7 pm.

haha yes it was Converge - I wasn't interested in them so I wasn't missing any bands I wanted to see
after that photo was taken I went off to see 1349.. they were one of my top favourite of the entire festival. they were enbelieveable!!

yeh.. about the CR.. I will hopefully have all my parts together some time in the near future.. I don't know about everyone else though

Meh, I saw a couple of MS shirts but the only MS'er I talked to is Baz. I'm so ridiculously shy around people I don't know.

I took a couple of pics but haven't even looked over them to see how good they are. I think I might have got a couple good ones of After Forever and Epica. I didn't take my camera for day 3 either sadly.

I saw a bit of 1349 from ouotside the tent, too, and it was fine, very charsimatic and stuff. The sound was much too loud though. I'm happy I could see a tr00 concert

WOW - 1349 were amazing.. I won't get over that in a while. haha
my problem is 1349 play at the same time as Iced Earth at Wacken.. and I would like to see both - I like 1349 more, but I've just seen them.. and I've never seen Iced Earth

Just got home, stayed for three days in Paris. Biiiig place that one. But the fest was great, although I can't say I enjoyed the mud. I prefer dry fests where I can sometimes enjoy the music sitting on the grass. Anyways, I took quite some photos with my camera (that you can see in Jeff's pic) but it'll take time until I get them developed. However, it was great to see you there. Some I've met before, some I met the first time. It was cool nevertheless.

The best band for me? Probably After Forever and Therion. Pain of Salvation could have been a bit better, including sound - I probably wasn't at the best possible place but still... Dream Theater was also great but again a bit unbalanced sound, too much bass. Pity about the Moonspell and Type O Negative. I've seen both do a separate shows here in Estonia and they were definitely far more awesome here than at Hellfest. Moonspell was still good though.

Oh, and some fucker stole my wallet this morning in Paris on my way to the airport. I hope he's happy cause I'm not.

About the hair, well, I need to find jobs, man, and there's still that old cliché that says if you got long hair you spend your time smoking weed and doing nothing.

I saw only a bit of Blind Guardian (three or four songs) because I wanted to be in the front for Megadeth and I don't really like BG. I enjoyed it more than on album, especially the vocals, but I can't say which songs they played, sorry...

Immortal was ok, a bit boring maybe, but then again I'm no big fan. They had issues with the drums blowing the amps or something at the beginning of the show. Tho it was fun seeing them

Megadeth was the best band of the festival IMO, together with Atheist. Absolutely great, and Mustaine even smiled once or twice

When I saw them earlier in the year we got Majesty, Welcome To Dying, The Bard's Song, and one or two others from their pre-Nightfall In Middle Earth era.
