The well established A Dream of Poe, - captained by the Azorean Doom Metal Head Miguel Santos (also known as Spell), - brings you its third full length album, A Waltz for Apophenia. To be released on the 5th December by Solitude Productions

It ends the trilogy that started with the highly acclaimed album, The Mirror of Deliverance.
A Waltz for Apophenia is made of 8 songs and for the first time the writing of 3 songs was shared with another mind, Kaivan Saraei, singer on the albums An Infinity Emerged and A Waltz for Apophenia.
Behind the trilogy concept is Paulo Pacheco. Paulo Pacheco has been with A Dream of Poe since the live album, For a Glance of the Lost Lenore, as a singer and in charge of all the lyrics.

A Waltz for Appophenia concludes the journey of self-discovery that was started in The Mirror of Deliverance, in order for the main character to express his full potential in the physical world. While in the previous two albums the character has been facing, mainly, his inner fears and ignorance, in this last one it is the physical world that is confronted and meant to be transcended.

A Waltz for Apophenia is a mature Doom album that brings out the best of The Mirror of Deliverance and An Infinity Emerged. Kaivan melodic voice is balanced out with Miguel and João Melo growls. Eerie backing vocals enriches and takes the listener to haunted landscapes. Dark heavy riffs, sorrowful melodies, and raging guitar solos as if impersonating the solitude of the Azores, the pain and suffering of its inhabitants, powerless to the fierce force and violence of its volcanoes and other forces of mother nature that fustigate the islands over and over again.

The album features the majority of the musicians that took part on the previous albums including João Melo (The Quiet Bottom), António Neves (In Peccatum), Nelson Félix (Spank Lord, Sanctus Nosferatu), Paulo Bettencourt (Morbid Death) and Kostas Panagiotou (Pantheist) among others.
The 12 pages booklet and artwork by Augusto Peixoto (Irondoomdesign) complements to perfection the doom of A Waltz for Apophenia.
