Awesome to see how many people like polands metal. Definately my second choice, I love behemoth, vader, decapitared, hate, Azarath, lost soul, mgla, and batushka.

You didn't explain your choice yet? Its Canada I guess?

And yeah Poland have a good combination of both established bands like those you mentioned and bands like Furia, Entropia, Cultes Des Ghoules (Even though I consider them average, I kinda enjoy it sometimes), Struggle With God, Stillborn, Echoes Of Yul, Ulcer etc. plus awesome labels like Witching Hour, Arachnophobia records, Pagan records and also awesome new artists like Kuba Soloski. You just can't go wrong with Poland these days.

There are no logic, where is USA, Germany, Belgium?

Poland, Suisse, Austria... few numbers of good bands

But I say this

aah don't be so mean to my home country ... we got Pungent stench, disharmonic orchestra, disastrous murmur, summoning, angizia, dornenreich, ellende, our survival depends on us, which are all great bands imo ...


I still chose Poland, because I have discovered Batushka, Mgla, and Furia this year and absolutely love them

You forgot to mention the best Austrian band... Hollenthon.
And then there's also Jack Frost, Abigor, Belphegor,
Edenbridge.

Hollenthon have some massive symphonic death metal tunes indeed all the while being really metal sounding. Their second album is a masterpiece. The last one is pretty awesome too.

Also gotta really thank Marcel for that bands list from Netherlands, really digging Laster now especially their last split.

and I forgot Estatic Fear, .. but you probably won't like them .. yeah Hollenthon and Jack Frost for sure .. haven't listened enough to Abigor or Edenbridge, and I'm not really a fan of Belphegor to be honest

I say Austria has produced Summoning, Heidenreich, Estatic Fear , Bifröst, Die Verbannten Kinder Evas , Jack Frost, its all what I can think now

Poland. Mostly because I love this polish folklore bm thing they got going on there Lots of great acts popping up (not only bm though), as well as a load of veterans.

I chose Greece and my second choice would be Poland right now, even if every other country on the planet was available to choose from . The most interesting black metal (my favourite genre) comes from these two places nowadays. Hail Spirit Noir, Aenaon, Human Serpent and Awe in Greece.. Mgla, Batushka, Furia and Cultes Des Ghoules in Poland.. just awesome!
