Amazing sounding soundtrack/ drone/ experimental record. I really love when musician push cello to get semi-noise sound out of it. It gives a bit of industrial accent to the sound at some points.
Also, this album has some connection to Western Medicine movie, which I have not watched myself.

Need to check all your recs above but first, new Sevendeaths album: progressive electronic/spacey ambient. At least this track sounds a bit more ambient than the previous album, if I remember it right:

Extremely good dark industrial/ dark ambient stuff with samples and weird things going on.

New Moon Duo album coming out (2 it seems in fact). Was a huge fan of their 2015 release so I suspect this will be a highlight of psychedelic rock this year.

Interesting mix of bands. Can't say I would have expected those two bands to go together but would be a nice show for sure.

This album has been getting a lot of attention lately, and rightly so.

2nd part of The Caretaker's latest project about detoriating "memory loss".

Retro surf/garage rock with a vintage 70's feel. Very very groovy with lots of reverbs.

Been exploring Rap/Hip Hop lately (starting from the well known and critically acclaimed) and I've gotta say the new Kendrick Lamar is quite pleasant, pretty out there and varied.
Plus I like the Hype over his second coming

I have been really enjoying Arjen Schat's recent releases. Very mellow and meditative ambient/drone.

I wasn't blown away on first listen, but I guess some people might be interested to know the new Mew album is out since yesterday. Fairly straightforward stuff and no better than the previous record, I'm afraid they've lost their edge.

Tatran will have their second album coming out this year, and if this song is anything to go by, it should be excellent again.

The video is pretty cool too.

A friend of mine is the bassist in a hip-hop inspired jazz band and they just released a new album! Fun stuff, fans of jazz should give it a listen.

Not exactly 2017, but Sundust Records (non-metal Blut Aus Nord/DebemurMorti label) signed these guys which should have a new album soon, and released a new video. Didn't know them till now but it's a really noice post-punk/dark rock.

I've been digging the new Depeche Mode and Slowdive records.

Interesting and fresh sounding "Drum & Sax" from Australia.

Serious contender for AoTY: modern classical with hints of death industrial and dark ambient.

dark ambinet/ industrial/ noise/ drone thing from US. Gets a bit too rhythmic sometime tbh, but those are short segments.
