Pyriphlegethon - Announce New Album

There is no stopping the Dutch connoisseur of evil metal this year. Madman Mories is back with more new music. This time, one of his more traditional black metal projects Pyriphlegethon have just announced that a follow up to 2015's Night Of Consecration will be released in the form of a 12" LP titled The Murky Black Of Eternal Night. There's also a new song from the album posted on the label's SoundCloud page. Check it out below.

The news was announced by Iron Bonehead Productions on their Facebook page. "Mories takes Pyriphlegethon into deeper, darker waters of spellbinding, pitch-black metal. Ever aptly titled, The Murky Black Of Eternal Night is a a spiritual and even virtual quagmire of eldritch energies, spectral and distant but equally physical in its thrust. Whereas the comparatively more martial Night Of Consecration emitted a strangely anthemic aspect, tethered as it was to first-wave black metal, The Murky Black Of Eternal Night wanders down different corridors, opening up unknown spaces within the still-scabrously raw Pyriphlegethon aesthetic and layering mystical synths atop more often than not."

Sounds pretty good. Don't remember much from the first album though.
