Lately I've been listening to a lot of Russian metal bands. Plenty of thrash, black metal, and old school metal. Excellent stuff, especially when the bands sing in Russian. Yeah, Walknut is great! I'd also add Station Dysthymia, Below The Sun and Grey Heaven Fall to this list. The first two play some top notch doom metal with a bit of post-metal (Envoy) and psychodelia (Overhead, Without Any Fuss, The Stars Were Going Out). GHF is known for playing an amazing black metal.
