Just for the heads up! I think Metal Storm staff should hire a guy to check new accounts on daily basis... it's obvious that some jealous idiot is downvoting this album by making new profiles with almost identical emails and names... plus, all these profiles're made today... ban them!
And it's not the first time I see such crap here...

It isn't just Codex Omega, it's all of their recent albums. The same accounts gave 10 to every Arch Enemy album, among other random 1 and 10 ratings.

This is insane, why would anybody waste time doing this? It's just a bunch of numbers...

Of course martali's rarings aren't honest. After all he gave the new Arch Enemy a 10.

By that logic, why would anyone care about it being done? Because you're right, it is just a bunch of numbers, numbers that have no hinging whatsoever on how much or how little you, the individual, are going to enjoy a certain album. People who downvote an album just because it's popular or whatever are edgy and annoying, but they only have as much power over what you get out of an album as you let them

If you ask me, on both sides of the spectrum people care way too much about about numbers. Both those who'd downvote an album purely to see its score go down, as well as those bothered by the score going down at all.

Well I wouldn't say so but to be honest there is no instant coup de coeur for me neither except maybe for Portrait of a Headless man and Martyr. The 3 songs we could listen to before the release of the album are very nice and the overall album is very good, guess I need more time to get into it.

Well I wouldn't say so but to be honest there is no instant coup de coeur for me either except maybe for Portrait of a Headless man and Martyr. The 3 songs we could listen to before the release of the album are very nice and the overall album is very good, guess I need more time to get into it.

Maybe 'boring' was the wrong choice of wording. Uninspiring might be better. I found that almost every song had a cool moment in it, but it was short.

Not bad but... mmmh... useless?! Nothing really bad in it, but nothing really interesting too.

Seems pretty good to me after a couple of listens, but I'll need to hear it a few more times before I get it. It's the first time I've heard this band, pretty high ratings so there must be something there

Well, that is quite indirectly! But that's really interesting to know, I know a lot of those album covers, but didn't know they were the same person.

I totally get the point, but still his visual universe has connected with all those bands enough for them to take "ownership" of a piece of it.

This album is definitely a grower ! Already got my favourite like Martyr, Portrait of a Headless man, Enemy of Truth, but the rest is very good too ! I wrote about Titan that symphony was a bit overwhelming death metal music but now it is tuned down and better balanced has been reached ! Not as perfect as The Great Mass but not far !

Very impressive!

I preferred Titan to be honest, but it's good. The hype for it is massive

Love it but 'The Great Mass' is still my very best

Changing my rating from 9 to 10! After few more spins, this album is a masterpiece!!

Their best album since Communion. First I wanted to rate 9, but now it will be a 10, because of the song Faceless Queen. Its the most incredible song of the greeks! (for me, of cause;))

Almost their worst album. Such a pitty. They keep on getting more boring with each album. Wake up!

This has to be my favorite Septic Flesh album of all time. I love how it's a bit more straight up death metal at times. The mastering has finally reached perfection! Every instrument somehow sounds GLORIOUS.

This is my favorite album of all time. Pure dark art.

To me - masterpiece. I come back to this album every few weeks. That means there is something in it... Motive, sound ... whatever. Masterpiece.

This one is great at first and then better with every re-listen. One of my favorites for sure.
