I find Erik Rutan's production a bit dry always and very uninteresting and eventhough this track doesn't suffer from those traits I still don't feel this is as strong as the sound of last album. Seems can't judge it until I hear this in its entirety but it'll be hard to top the last one.

Opening riffs sound a lot like Grave to me. Being one of my favorite death metal bands, that is a very good thing. Always excited for more good old consistent Cannibal Corpse
