Rhapsody - Announce 20th Anniversary Farewell Europe Tour
Recently re-united Italian symphonic metal band Rhapsody finished the first part of their "20th Anniversary Farewell Tour". On this successful tour, the band performed sold-out shows in Mexico City, Bogotá, Santiago and Buenos Aires. They also already announced a second Latin America tour leg, which will bring them back to Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica, Columbia and Mexico in January 2018. But there will be no break for them because right after this second Latin America tour leg they will visit Europe for 23 shows in 11 different countries.
Tickets will go on sale Friday at 10.00 am.
Fabio Lione (vocals) comments: "After the incredible success of the Rhapsody reunion shows in Latin America time has finally come for us to meet all our European fans. Don't miss the upcoming shows for any reason as Luca, Dominique, Patrice, Alex and me are ready to invest our heart and soul once again in this new great adventure, sharing some unique and wonderful emotions in the name of Rhapsody 's music."
And guitarist Luca Turilli continues: "We can not imagine a better ending for this amazing 'Farewell Tour' than touring in Europe for a new and last time after so many years. It will be pure magic and in each show we will present a memorable setlist full of legendary classics, some surprises and a few songs never played before. See you soon!"
Currently, Rhapsody is formed by Fabio Lione (vocals), Luca Turilli (guitars), Dominique Leurquin (guitars), Patrice Guers (bass) and Alex Holzwarth (drums).

Might make it to either the Eindhoven concert or a concert somewhere else.. still pondering about it since the latest drama with this tour, almost performing in Israel, but then cancelled the very last minute.

(back in 2005 or something) Rhapsody became Rhapsody of Fire, so Rhapsody of Fire is the continuation of the original Rhapsody 2011: Luca leaves Rhapsody of Fire and creates Luca Turilli's Rhapsody. C. 2012: Fabio Lione and the others leave Rhapsody Of Fire, leaving Staropoli as the only member of the original Rhapsody (that's Rhapsody Of Fire) Now: Luca Turilli teams up with all members of Rhapsody (Of Fire)'s golden years except Staropoli, and tours under the name Rhapsody.

Written by WorpeX on 19.10.2017 at 16:25 I think the point is that since Rhapsody of Fire is now a hollow husk of what it used to be and is mostly dead, and Luca Turili's Rhapsody is a totally different animal from Rhapsody (of Fire) than this is the last time we're going to be hearing the true Rhapsody sound.
