Sad, but true. An inferior clone of the already not that great debut. The impression I got from the promo material was 100% correct. Loads of people will find this enjoyable though, and Hemmingby is just 21 years old, so loads of potential for him to grow, I think.

I think I am one of the "Loads of people"

I gave it few spins and I must admit that there are very nice passages hidden beneath which I found very pleasant to my ear :-)

Have you heard the debut album as well? I somewhat enjoyed Force Of The Ancient Land. It's just that this new album is exactly the same, which makes it boring to me.

Yes I did, when I listened to this album first time I had same feeling about it but later on I discovered there are things which were not present in the debut album, small details there and there but nice when realized :-)

btw if you are into Atmospheric Black I just discovered this one (thanks youtube )

Cool, maybe I need to give the new Eldamar a few more listens in that case. I am really glad You like it though, it's always nice to see people supporting one-man projects, even if their music is not what I particularly care for

I listened to that album some time ago, but also only once. I remember thinking it had a nice atmosphere, but also slightly too easy-listening melodies and chord progressions (I am TOTALLY unreasonable when it comes to chord progressions). Thanks for the rec. though.

I expected a step up from the debut, but I am afraid this is exactly the opposite. The female vocals do my head in and the guitar is nowhere to be found.
