 The Stone is Serbian Black Metal band and they are on Underground scene for more than ten years. In their career they released five very succesful full length albums, few EPs, one DVD and one split CD with Czech Black Metal band Inferno. They played dozens of gigs in Serbia and Europe, and they have hordes of fans in Serbia and (mostly Slavic countries) outside. Lyrics are based on anti-christanity and pagan Slavic mythologie. Written by Guest on 06.05.2007 at 21:07 Yeah, Russia have very big and great scene, and we are very related with them, since we are both Slavs, anyway if you like Russian scene you should check other Bleck Metal bands from that circle Russia - Serbia - Czech Republic. they have similar sound and there are many unkown but great bands. Start with Adultery, Inferno, May Result and Wolf's Hunger.

Yeah, but Gorgeous Symphonies is their first album after Ignoramus... demo so it is good that their later albums are better. I don't know, try at Grom Records or or by contacting the bands.

Yeah, Slavic bands are NS oriented, but that is not classic NS, they don't hate everyone and staff, it is more like patriotic expression. The Stone was accused for nazism and staff, but Milan was my neighbour, I know him better than those people who are bullshiting, it is patriotic not nazistic band. Whole scene is huge and great All bands are related, and that is why some people don't won't to accept that, if you know what I mean. Some bands are just awesome like Ashen Light, Butterfly Temple... Adultery is one of the best, for me of cause, as you said their mix of folk and black metal is great, they have Slavic and fantasy lyrics both. I saw them alive here on Slavonic Swords fest and it is one of the best gig I ever saw, so powerfull... I know only Hate Forest, but they are from Ukraine and they are not among best bands, but I saw them with Nokturnal Mortum and they were very good alive. Never heard for Forest only, I'll try to find something soon, it is not hard to find those bands here..

Yes, I listened new album, but I am not sure on witch album you mean. The very last release called 'Neke Rane Krvare Vecno' is actually re-realease of their album Some Wounds Bleed Forever (recorded under name Stone to Flesh, they changed name because they wanted to release album 'Slovenska Krv' under different label). If you listened Stone To Flesh's Some Wounds.. you will see that difference is not very big. Lyrics are in Serbian now, and production is better of cause. Album is awesome and I like it more than Some Wounds.. Maybe you meant on 'Magla' (Fog), it is last full length with new material and it is awesome, songs are typical The Stone but they have some new influences, it is maybe little slower than other albums, but it fit perfectly into atmosphere. After Magla they released split with Inferno, which is not very good. Inferno sound good, but not like they used to sound and Stone have awful production, Nefas (vocalist) is so fucking quite comparing to guitar riffs. Live Curse from The East is very good DVD... but I am not fan of DVDs and staff... Slovenska Krv and Tragom Hromog Vuka are albums you should check out, really awesome.

You don't to kill anyone, just came to Serbia, they will have another gig soon  It was awesome, I remember I heard that Nokturnal Mortum will play in Serbia and I was lughing, like yeah right, but they came on Slavic Swrods fest part: who know, I stop counting after 100... Gig was awesome, but really awesome, one of the best gigs here ever. The whole event was late for two hours and Serbian May Result was first, they played only four songs, and then Nokturnal Mortum. It was so damn hot, and other people were crazy, I can't remmeber whole list but they played almost whole Lunar Poetry and all best songs from other albums. I liked Cernii Voron and Perun's Celestial Silver, but all songs sounded gret... I will post some videos on youtube soon...
