Abbath - Bassist King Ov Hell Leaves
At the Metal Storm Awards, we have a drama of the year category and now it seems like we might have another candidate because Abbath just lost their bassist, King ov Hell, who leaves after "conflicting views on lyrical concepts of the upcoming album." He says he wants to maintain his artistic integrity.
Abbath entered the studio earlier this year.
King ov Hell wrote on his Facebook page: "King leaves Abbath. King will no longer be part of Abbath due to conflicting views on lyrical concepts of the upcoming album. The lyrics are inspired by Swiss psychiatrist, Carl Gustav Jung. King finds that Jung's connection to Christian mysticism is incompatible with the image of the band."
"I wish members of the actual band, label, and crew all the best for the upcoming shows and album. The music itself is nothing short of brilliant. However, I must maintain artistic integrity and respectfully step aside." - King
Abbath currently has none of their original 2015 lineup left aside from Abbath himself. According to the label Season Of Mist, Abbath will soon give an official statement about King's departure and no shows will be cancelled.

This band and he alkways has different point of viev, Immortal was all about Norway, winter, grimmness, mountains and so on, suroundings of Bergen, not st. ann type of lyrics. This is why it was unique and b est BM band out there. Now this, I dont see any point, but Abboth wins anyway, not he. Its rediculose reason but I am happy he stands tall whit his believes and defends it.
