I tried creating a band suggestions for black metal bands "Goatmoon" and "Satanic Warmaster" but I received a message stating that they have already been suggested. Is there something holding up the creation of these band profiles or is there something I can do to help the process along?

Yes. Satanic Warmaster are blacklisted, therefore will never be added unless some kind of miracle happens.
You can check the blacklisted band list here.

And Goatmoon went to the suggested bands for addition page. As you can see... there are 235 pages of suggested bands. it might take a while to process them all...
Regular users cannot help the process because only staff members can add bands to the database, I believe.

Your best shot would be clicking that upvote button on the list or complaining on the shoutbox. Lately latter option has been shown to be slightly more effective :3

Thank you for the information, but it's disappointing that one negative comment of "NSBM" can blacklist a band.

"Werwolf maintains that Satanic Warmaster is not a national socialist black metal (NSBM) band. In a 2014 Q&A, he stated that the lyrics in his music have never concerned racism or white supremacy as a focal theme in any of his songs. "

I have to agree, even some says their lyrics are wp , but I have not read them. If it would me my choice Nocturnal Mortum SW and few so called nsbm bands specially Halgadom what is not would be here.

because they are accused to be nsbm band for some, same as Halgadom are accused,. Halgadom has nothing to do whit nsbm, its bm, neofolk band, but NM maybe I dont see any ns elements there, equal as Burzum.
