Facebook login issue (expired certificate?)

During FB login I just got warned by Facebook, that MS website is using unsecured connection, so FB will limit its privileges, if I select to continue. Now my browser (Chrome 70.0.3538.77) announces the connection is "Not secure". I would say stuff like that has typically something to do with expired security certificate for the website. May it be the reason here? Or something else?
