Found their bc, its from november last year.

If you ever felt like your life was missing experimental, technical grind with ambient properties then this will probably be for you.

New Vukari demo track. Sounds much more direct and aggressive than the previous outing, and less a post-black affair, but still has a nice vein of melody running through it. Hope they keep that artwork for the full length, as well as the sound coz it's great.




This band has a sick sound. My guess is some kind of doom, but mired in dark effects, clean guitar and heavily bassy, possibly even slightly avant-garde. Not sure if the full album will be instrumental but I could see it working fine if it was.

The first funeral doom metal album from 2019. Not bad at all.

Some avant-garde doom from my country. One-man band, dude played with a lot of bands like E-an-na, Prohod and Clouds.

Ringarë - IBh release, extreme second wave worship

New project of one of the Dysylumn band members. Instrumental, pretty technical prog black. Should be good.




Pretty nice sounding, classic fuzzy ambient black metal. Moody with the very occasional dissonant whistle.




Atmospheric, epic black / death metal. Not sure how much my thing it is but it's quite good so might give it more plays.




Standard, but seemingly very well done post-rock / metal. Think I'm in the mood for something this streamlined.




Pretty lo-fi sludge / drone with harcore elements. Can't really tell how this record will go from the song but bookmarking it here for future examination.




And seeing as Ugwemubwem Ossas isn't around anymore to post it, here's some psych-stoner doom. Pretty expansive stuff and nice vocals.

Psychedelic stoner, with drone sensibilities. Long ass songs, deep rumbly guitars, often trippy. Noice.




Superlynx are back with another album. Sounds like another fine female-fronted doom thing.




Actually kind of excellent psychedelic, instrumental jams from Turkey, Very colourful stuff.

Some black 'n' blues from a side project of the guys from Chotzä, based in Switzerland. The songs sung in German give it that unique touch. Starts off quite generic but listen to the second track, lol.

Yeah the art is very familiar, don't think I ever listened to it though.

Fun as fuck old-school punky / heavy black metal.




The Body did another collab with Whitehorse and it's now out to listen to.

Yeah needs more oomph.

The Dutch are really getting a head start with the early good releases this year. Super frenentic and atmospheric blackened death metal that is good.




Kind of brilliant mix of free jazz and black metal, though mostly favours the jazz side.




And a new upcoming record from A Million Dead Birds Laughing. Not sure anyone here even remembers them now but they were lauded on the site a few years ago, but not sure they have the oddness they used to enjoy any more.




Tab clearing time:

New Waldgeflüster. Should be decent atmos black with a pagan edge.




Very nice, almost industrialised sludge / post-metal. Herod.

Thick, ambient-oriented DSBM. Nice gritty atmosphere for once. A Self​-​Righteous Farewell.




Somewhat odd, experimental sounding raw black metal. Witch Bones




Pretty good sounding mournful funeral doom. Il Vuoto.

It's another big, murky and dissonant sounding black metal release. Does sounds pretty good though.

Wasn't too sure about this at first, but after keeping it on for a while the subtle songwriting really starts to work in tandem with their great sound. Very nice cosmic black metal.

New Nasheim coming up. You guys remember the Solens Vemod album? I remember learning about them here circa 2014.

Released without warning, does this guy think he is Krallice? Nevermind, it's even better, it's a perfect mix between BAN's best industrial and raw BM releases.
