Mastodon - Announce US Tour With Coheed And Cambria
Mastodon and Coheed And Cambria will team up for a co-headlining 'The Unheavenly Skye Tour' this spring/summer. The trek across the States will hit 26 cities and will feature Mastodon performing their 2009 masterpiece, Crack The Skye, in its entirety. Every Time I Die will perform as the opening act on this tour.

How is Coheed more relevant than Mastodon at this point? Welcome Home is literally their only hit song and that was nearly 15 years ago lol

Written by SatanicBlood on 13.02.2019 at 18:54 Mastodon won a Grammy last year for best Metal Performance (Sultans Curse) and best Rock Album. Curl Of the Burl and High Road won in 2012 and 2015. Not that the Grammys mean much of anything, still, they've had at least some relevance.

Heard them perform Crack the Skye twice live. It is definitely their best album, and the guys in the band seem to think so too. That said, it was back in 2009-2010. Their catalog has definitely become more diverse since then, so I would rather hear some of that mixed in as well.
