I play what I can, usually Thrash, Death, Heavy, some acoustic intro-type stuff, an occasional rock riff or two. I like playing some of Hatebreed's stuff because it's fairly simple and Drop-C or Drop-B usually. Almost always what I play is aggressive, energy-driven, and stress-releasing. 
Mostly I like learning and playing Death Metal. Lately, I've been trying to incorporate more Black Metal-ish chords into my playing but it's slow going. Need to find a good site with a section on Death/Black Metal chords with specifics.

When writing stuff, nowadays I play a lot of stoner, prog and groove metal. I also love DM, neo classical sweeps..I guess my playing changes along with my taste. After listening and learning a bit about Meshuggah, for example, I wrote a bit of "Djent" and that went pretty cool I think.

Black metal is nearly 90% of what I play on my guitar. It's relatively easy and really fun.

I play what my fingers wants me to... O.o I know it sounds weird but its the case. When I grab my guitar I just go with the flow, I can play Thrash, Death, Heavy, Power, Sludge... anything I feel like doing depending on how I feel while I play. Im not really looking to start a band or having a career in music I just play coz it makes me feel good...

Couldn't agree more with guib, although i used to play a lot of different styles, but nowadays..almost only death metal...saying almost cuz i also enjoy playing stuff like muse and the killers  (playing bass, not guitar)

Other, mostly i play groovy stuff, doesn't have to be "groove metal" as long as the riff is groovy. Also I like to play some simpler prog rock like kingston wall and similar bands.
