Flowing Tears - Updates From The Band

June 01/2007 - The tears are still flowing...

Since rumours are spreading and we´re drowning in mails we thought it might be a good idea to let you all know what´s going on in the FT camp: As you surely have noticed the release of an upcoming album is postphoned and it has been quiet here for a while.

The reason for that is that while starting writing the new album we realized we were trapped in a kind of album/tour/album circle and felt a little bit burned out, so even though we had already pre-produced some songs we decided to take an off-time for a while rather than recording an uninspired album just to fulfill business rules or expectations. Well, this while has become quite a while indeed, and some things have changed meanwhile. We parted ways with Century Media records with whom we worked together for seven years and archieved more than we ever dreamt of, but lately felt like a part of a machinery rather than a creative band.

Well, what does this all mean now? No, this doesn´t we we have disbanded, on the contrary. After we had taken a break and taken some neccessary changes on the business side we have now started working as a band again and it feels damn good writing songs again. As business-things always take a while we´re still in negotiations with several record labels as we want to make sure to consider all options we have for taking the best choice for the band´s future.

Well, and to prove you all we´re still alive, here´s some more news: Flowing tears are confirmed for this year´s Metal female voices Festival, taking place in Wieze/Belgium on October 20th. Apart from that we´re right now in studio working on the mixes of live recordings we had taped during the 2004 semi acoustic tour. Sounds fantastic and we can´t wait to share this different side of some FT classics with you. These recordings will probably be released as a live album in the near future to shorten the wait for the upcoming studio album. Ok, so much for now. More will follow soon. Really soon this time. We promise. ;-)

Helen, Ben, Stefan & Frederic.

The girl on the pic seems hot! I'll give them a try, hoping her voice is even better!

Hmm... methinks they lost it. Wasn't a huge fan of Razorbliss, and I certainly hope the new material is better. It just seemed a bit 'same'ish compared to teir first two albums.

Right-Helen is a very cute woman who also sings good.
I personally love Flowing Tears and can't wait to hear their new material, and the new live songs, too.

@velvet:Well,in my opinion"Razorbliss"is a wonderful album. But it's true it is very different, compared to the other FT albums.

All their albums are just wonderful, but Razorbliss is a little disappointing compared to the others... I hope their new stuff will sound like their previous works, even those with the name Flowing Tears & Withered Flowers. About her, she's hot and so is her voice

Honestly I never cared much for the material before the band shortened their name. I think their past 3 CDs are all worthy of high marks, my favorite one being "Serpentine." I some people had a slight disappointment on "Razorbliss," but I absolutely love the heavier direction the band took - it works much better with Helen's tastes I think too!

And they are one of the bands I still hope to see someday live - I too am thrilled to see they are hard at work on new stuff and they have a chance to release a live CD. woo!

She is hot, and I really want to see them live (just to see if she oozes sex in real life to be honest). Bring back the sadness of Jade!

When I first clicked the link to this news, the first thought on my mind was that the girl they have in the picture has great boobs. Anyway, I hope the band does good with their new singer.

The good news is not the boobs, but the music and of course the return of the band not ? Apparently more the first thing for some of us .

Anyway I hope a good album and good luck for the band.
