Drown - Unveil New Album Details And Teaser


Subaqueous, the second album of Portland's funeral doom extremist Markov Soroka (also the heart and soul of Tchornobog and Aureole) under the Drown moniker, will be out on February 28th via Prophecy Productions and Vigor Deconstruct. The outing was mixed and mastered at Priory Recording Studios by Greg Chandler of the genre's finest, Esoteric. Subaqueous is divided into two parts: "Drowned VI: Mother Cetacean" and "Drowned VII: Father Subaqueous". You can listen to the 5-minute long teaser of the latter one down under.

Various formats (Digipak CD and Gatefold LP - black, limited transparent blue) of the album are available for pre-order at this location.

I assume the first track will just be the 2017 one? Not that I mind (that was my favourite funeral doom of that year) but that means it's basically one new song. Maybe different mix.
