New Salqiu EP

An interesting direction. It's leaning to the post black side, except that the good old Salqiu is still there, , murky and unsettling.

This is kinda cute: (and the snake is adorable)
Oversinthy raw sympho black metal, which sounds like it could have been done in 1999 or so.

Well, if I checked albums with good covers I'd check like... two albums

So there was a new Xpelleir this year.
Of course the band probably wasn't meant to be taken seriously, but the melodies here can be pretty neat nonetheless

Shaman's new album is a serious contender for album of the year for me. Amazing comeback.

Speedy, old-school, epic, and punky heavy metal. I cannot believe I missed this last year. The final track is godlike.
