Inspired by a topic in the old forum here we go.
What is the story behind your username (and your custom title if you have one)?

In my own case it quite simple. Just the first letters in my first and last name. Boring and easy to remember

My username came from

"Cynic*"-al - my nature.

Metalhead - cocky word for love of Metal.

* nothing remotely close to Cynic band. I'm not huge fan of Cynic band.

I just went through few pages of this forum and saw almost all users cited from where they got the name. I thought I should give my proof.

I've used this nick for about 13 years. Since my gaming days. I guess I thought it sounded cool when I was 14. Kind of short for "toxic" or something. Just added an extra "x", because it's much more badass when there's several x'es

My wife, Rachel, actually went through high school with a bunch of other girls named Rachel. So, to differentiate herself from the other Rachels, she started to spell her name Raechyl, which she felt was a bit more Celtic-looking (or some such nonsense). When we started going out at 16, I decided I would give my name the same treatment, and thus, Jared became Jaeryd. The 17 comes from the fact that we both like the number 17 for no specific reason, and just "Jaeryd" seemed a bit boring to me.

To be clear, I don't actually spell it that way on anything official. I just use it for usernames and such.

"Enter Death" comes from the song "Oscillation Point" by Scar Symmetry. "24601" is the prison number of the character Jean Valjean from Les Misérables.
