Which song by this great finnish folk metal band you think is the best? My vote will go for Unohduksen Lapsi from the album Kivenkantaja.

But i will be glad if someone recommend me other so good or even better songs by them (i havent heard all so far)

I am adding Luopion Veri to the list...it is from their demo album, but still there is some "magical" energy in it, i would say...i listened to it yesterday, when returning home in the evening...i was between 2 storms - one going away northwest, one approaching from southeast, lightnings flashing in nightsky and Moonsorrow were playing...atmosphere like hell

1065: Aika from Suden Uni. It was simply the first song I heard by them and I was immediately impressed and wanted more of course. I really like the intro and how it passes into the ''rest'' of the song. It's just freaking epic.

Most of their songs are really good, but I guess I'll have to go with Sankarihauta or Haaska.

Every song they've ever done in my opinion...is amazing. Its almost impossible for me to choose a favourite but if I have to pick one song...I'd go with Pimea.

I made a playlist of all their songs chronologically and have listened to it whole several times, so now can i tell without doubts - Luopion Veri, the queen of all songs ever

My favourite is actually a cover: "Back to North". I think it's one hell of a song. And the "back to nooooooooooooooorth" scream sends chills down my spine, so does the riff after that.

I have discovered Pakanajuhla is fcking great song too...but still Luopion Veri rules over all else

Hmmm...The best song from Moonsorrow . It's hard to say but for now, I guess my vote goes to "Tuulen tytär incl. Soturin tie" from the Kivenkantaja album.

Ukkosenjumalan Poika is the one for me.

Tough choice, but I might have to second Pimea (Verisakeet). That, or maybe Aurinko ja Kuu (Voimasta ja Kunniasta).

I personally like many songs of Moonsorrow.....the first one I heard was 1065 Aika and was probably the best one till date. My favs. are 1065 Aika, Aurinko Ja Kuu, Kylan Passa, sankaritarina, Ukkosenjumalan Poika, Kuin Ikuinen, Tuulen Koti Aaltojen Koti, Huuto and Sankarihauta

Over four years ago I said "Back to North". Today I'd probably say the "Tyven" intro along with "Sankarihauta". That main tune is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and catchy melodies ever.
