What health codes? you mean to say one isn't allowed to perform barefoot in the States?
People over here are a little too apprehensive about bare feet, I think they just passed a law saying children must wear shoes when playing at the playground. I used to live in Hawaii and was bare foot 75% of the day, when I first came to the mainland it was a wake-up call. They act as if it is unnatural...
