Orkan

Orkan's four-man lineup was formed in 2008 by Taake's live guitarist Gjermund Fredheim and ex-Byfrost drummer Rune Nesse, joined by former Grimnorth bassist Sindre Hillesdal and frontman Einar Fjelldal (ex-Gravemachine) to complete the line-up.

Orkan's debut full-length album Crimson Canvas, which the band themselves describe as a "self-financed, thrashy album" appeared in 2012, and is far removed from the much darker direction taken on 2015's Livlaus.

Order Of The Ebon Hand

Order Of The Ebon Hand was formed in Greece in August, 1994 by Merkaal (Nocternity, Mournblade) on vocals / bass and Lorthar on guitars. Their mission was to create orthodox black metal. Lethe (Septicflesh, Mournblade, Thou Art Lord, Horrified and Necromantia) joined shortly after, handling drums and keyboards. The order was then complete. The bands first recorded song, The Skull, appeared on the Greek metal compilation Warzone 4, issued by Metal Invader Magazine in 1996. Soon after, Metal Hammer magazine included the song, Stormlords, on Hammer Holocaust 3 that same year.

Dragony - Announce Second Album, Cover Art Revealed

Austrian power metallers Dragony have announced the title of their second album, and revealed its front cover artwork. The follow-up to their debut album Legends from 2011, will be titled Shadowplay, and will be released in September via Limb Music. The album's cover artwork was designed by the Hungarian artist Péter Sallai, known from his cooperation with acts such as Sabaton, Crematory or Satyricon. You can see the cover below.

Angist

From Reykjavík, Iceland hails the death metal quartet Angist, formed in 2009 by Edda and Gyða with Halli, Edda's brother later joining in as bass player and with few changes in drummers. Angist released their two song demo in summer 2010 and a year later they had accomplished to play many high profile shows such as Iceland Airwaves, opening act for Heaven Shall Burn and L'Esprit Du Clan and get 2nd place in the Wacken Metal Battle (Icelandic log). Many interviews and reviews in magazines, newspapers, webzines and radio followed and the year 2011 ended with the release of Angist's EP, Circle Of Suffering, and a tour around France as an opening act for L'Esprit Du Clan. In 2012 Angist signed a record contract with US-based Abyss Records which will release the band's first full-length.

Larry David

The band is named after the co-writer of the famous American comedy series, Seinfeld. Larry David also created Curb Your Enthusiasm, a comedy series based around an extreme fictionalised version of himself. The band's lyrics and aliases are inspired by these two sitcoms.

Formed in January 2010, the band split up after their final show on May 20th, 2012.
