Dawnless

Early in the year 2003, somewhere at the far end of a valley lost in the Swiss Alps, Dawnless takes shape in the silence of an icy cold January month. The band's name's meaning is related to the area where the members come from which is forsaken by the sun throughout the long winter months.

The will to share its passion for Metal and Hard Rock is beyond any doubt the main goal of theses five close friends. Through time and work Dawnless grows and builds up confidence. New songs appear, gigs follow one another, the crowd, always following, shares the motivation that each member has for what he's doing.

Bands
Frightmare

Frightmare are a sharp and deadly metallic force like no other! The band came together in mid-2002 when "Maniac" Neil Smith asked some friends if they would be interested in forming a new band. With the goal being to create the catchiest, heaviest most original hybrid of old school Death Metal, Grindcore, Punk and Thrash they could. The lyrical influence came from Neil's life-long obsession with late 70's/early 80's slasher films like The Burning, Friday The 13th, Maniac, My Bloody Valentine, Slumber Party Massacre and Sleepaway Camp. That same year the band wrote and recorded their first Slashterpiece appropriately titled Midnight Murder Mania. Midnight Murder Mania was released in the winter of 2003 with rave reviews from both magazines and fans. People noticed right away that these freaks didn't care about the current trends happening in heavy music and that they were all about writing ultra catchy, blood drenched metal. Death Metal, Grindcore and Punkers alike all dug the "Stalk And Thrash Grind" that Frightmare acheived on Midnight Murder Mania. It was a breath of fresh air in the stagnant underground metal scene. It was a reminder of the days when Slayer thrashed, Terrorizer grinded like no other and Impetigo were the kings of gore.

Nibiru - Padmalotus

In recent years, a good few occult theorists and scientists who spend too much time reading Zecharia Sitchin have come to proclaim the inevitable return of Nibiru. If they're talking about the fabled planet, I'd say their arguments are probably shit out of luck, but if they happen to be referring to the band, they're dead on. The Italian trio that is Nibiru are indeed here again on the psychedelia block, and they're striking back with what is perhaps their most powerful album to date.

Sannhet - Revisionist

An American band that plays good black metal? There are not many, and even though Sannhet orchestrates what certainly can be labeled as "hipster" black metal (had to say it), they are pretty unique in that they have no vocals. Think Deafheaven, Altar Of Plagues or Regarde Les Hommes Tomber but without the desolate, shrieking and chthonic black metal singing.

Author & Punisher

Iconoclastic in the truest sense of the word, Tristan Shone inverts the tenets of doom metal completely, relying on cold steel and soulless machinery to sonically replicate the despondency of life. Described most succinctly as "industrial doom", this one-man project utilizes primarily custom designed and fabricated machines and speakers. From Shone's background and current position as a mechanical engineer, his designs and devices draw heavily on aspects of industrial automation and robotics with also a focus upon the eroticism of interaction with machine. The machines are designed to require significant force from the performer, aligning he/she with the plodding doom-influenced sounds that are created.
