This album must be the greatest surprise I had this year, the music surrounding this album is incredibly beautiful and harshly aggressive at the same time, nothing compares to this kind of musical achievements; without hesitating I'll give this album the highest rating available.

There are 3 kinds of albums: a) the ones you hate, b) the ones you like, and c) the ones you'll worship for the rest of your life, "Perfect Pitch Black" fits in the last option. From the beginning to the end this CD will absorb your senses in the most bizarre way, the shots will flow from everywhere and in every shape you can imagine?there are stunning melodies, violent riffs, catchy drum-beats, shrieks and clean vocals, etc. every single thing you imagine is here laying inside this album, there's nothing else you could ask for in a band I swear it.

The music has a lot of layers; the progressions in each song appear mildly almost in "fade-in", so the band slowly creates an atmosphere to enfold the music in a very outstanding way. The music is astonishing, I actually can't think of any exact phrase to describe it, I'll just say that this will impact every listener without even a previous warning, the music flows in the most spectacular way, so you might be listening a really calm melody but all of the sudden the next track cracks in breaking every cord from the last song and crushing your ears and mind.

I could go on forever talking about the greatness of this album, but I really want you to discover its magnitude, so I really think everyone around should check "Perfect Pitch Black" cause it's easily one of the best releases this year along with Pelican and Porcupine Tree.
