Surely this is an album that I shouldn't be reviewing In a Metal webzine, because practically this is not Metal at all! But it comes from a Metal label, and surely they know better than me why they released this one?

Ankh comes from Poland, and like most of Polish bands, they're signed to Metal Mind Records, what they're doing here is something that could be called Electro-Gothic Rock, but this is more Electro than Gothic or Rock anyway.
So, even so that is not Metal, is enjoyable? In part, yes, I mean, if you don't dislike Electronic music you could give this a try, my girlfriend sure listens electronic music, so I'm kinda used to it, that's why this release doesn't bother me as much as you would expect.

So what you got in here? You have good instrumentals like "Moonlight Drive" and "On The Way", one thing I noticed is that some of the songs has even some Progressive touches, as for the vocals, they're always low, sometimes they talk, rarely they sing, or at least that's what I noticed I the few spins I gave to the album.
Some other songs like "Blue" and "You And Me" were a pleasant listen too, "The Trick" reminded me of Daft Punk.

The main problem with this, is that I would prefer anytime put on another thing in the stereo, having so much high-quality Metal releases, why would I waste my time listening this? Is not so good or ground-breaking to give it a listen once in a while, God, Is not even Metal! Don't get me wrong, I listen other things that aren't Metal, but mostly I listen Metal, besides, is my work to hear Cd's (which by the way, I love).

So, the final verdict? I will send this one to the gallows, mainly for two reasons, can't be qualified as Metal, and, I wasn't THAT good.
