From the first moment I lay eyes upon this Cd I knew this wasn't my cup of tea, don't get me wrong, I think the cover art is great, nicely done and everything, but once you put this on your record player you come across with something that zillion bands have tried to accomplish, Old-school Death Metal.

I'll keep this short and concise, you have the right elements done in a repetitive way, the fast drumming the, rapid riffing and the unintelligible low-grunted Death Metal Vocals. I mean, what's the point of not letting anybody know a single word you say?

Grufff grrrffstrrrrrrr bruuuurrrggggg urrrg trruuuggggg grrroooowwwwww, that defines quiet graphically how the vocals sound in this album, ok, there's some bands that uses more brutal and grunted vocals?but I found these particularly more annoying than , take for example, Cannibal Corpse (which I sense as a main influence here).

The good thing about this is that all the record is not so brutal, it has some mellower parts and some really inspired moments, but the overall experience leaves you somewhat unsatisfied at the end.

Recommended for more brutal stuff fans, and for those who like their coffee black and their lyrics indecipherable.

You just don't have a finely tuned death metal ear, that's why you don't understand the lyrics.

This entire review actually reads as if it were written by someone who really hasn't spent a great deal of time listening to death metal, to be honest.

Somehow still longer than wormdrink's Angelus Apatrida review, too.

I was going to ask if these 50 words reviews are the new trend around here, but then I noticed that this is from 2004...

Still, that punctuation almost gave me a brain tumor.
