NorthTale is the new "super" band that joins members of different bands from power to technical death metal to create the ultimate power metal band to bring back the spirit of the high era of the genre.

In Welcome To Paradise, we can feel that difference, from the technique in Bill Hudson's guitar to the rhythm of Patrick Johansson's drums and, in particular, the melodic voice of Christian Eriksson, who did a great job in Twilight Force, together mixed to create a varied album with catchy songs like "Welcome To Paradise" or "Higher", and more technical ones such as "Bring Down The Mountain" or "Time To Rise", without missing the ballads of "Way Of the Light" and "Even When".

The more positive aspect of this album is the great production and musical technique that show the commitment of the band to create a unique experience to the listener and bring us back to the 90s power metal feel again. However, the album feels a little random and the songs are disconnected in terms of lyrics and context, losing the full experience of having a well-produced album and having a concept album, one of the things that most of power metal fans love in the genre, making this album a collection of a good songs.

Welcome To Paradise is a good start point to this band to show what they are capable to do, now we wait for them to next bring not only the technical quality but also a story that can become a milestone in the recent history of the genre, like the bands that inspired them did in the past.
