Very young band from Finland, seems that a lot of new and young bands are emerging from the land of the thousand lakes lately, that's fine with me, 'cause usually Finns are pretty talented when it comes to Heavy Metal.
Diesense presents us their demo "Mind-Bending Mind" 4 songs of a mixture of Power Metal, with some Extreme Metal influences, there's even some growling in the last track.

Diesense doesn't play an typical form of Metal, from times they remind me their compatriots, Children Of Bodom, but at times they remind me Nightwish, see? A lot of influences can be described in their music.
Ah, the music, the music is great, all the instruments are in place and the guitar, drums and keyboards are quite good, specially the great use of keyboards, and the excellent drumming patterns.

The one thing that kills this Demo are the vocals, they completely suck, as a matter of fact, I don't even know who sings, in the Cd appears 4 members, bass, guitars, keyboards and drums? maybe the singer heard his voice in the Demo, and decided not to appear in the credits?

Also, the production, in general is quite well done, instrumentally each piece fits into the other, but when it comes to the vocals, they sound totally apart from the rest, there's even some echoes, sounds like the vocal parts were recorded in a big wide empty room!

Musically, yes, vocally, no please. Diesense posses ability when it comes to instruments and composition, but they need to find a good singer, and mix better the vocals next time, there's even some gang vocal parts some the choruses that sound awful, if weren't for the vocals, this Demo would have obtained a high rating, but sadly I have to rate it that way because of that problem.
