Calmsite is a Death Metal band from southern Finland, this is their fifth release so far, and until now the band haven't seen a full-length release, their discography is composed of Demos and Mcd, like this one.

This Mcd only contains 3 songs, so this review will be pretty short, let's get things started by talking of the presentation, oh yes, this reviewer takes note of the overall presentation of the Cd, even is a demo, Mcd or full-length.
As a matter of fact, there's not much to say about the looks of this one, only contains a cover and a band photo in the back, the cover art is nothing special, pretty poor in my opinion, the band pic is cool though.

First song, "Dienasty" is a pretty generic Death Metal song, and bored me with it's repetitiveness, bad start, because the band failed terribly in trying to impress me with the opener. With the second song, things get better, "Melting The Frost" is much better than the previous, it evens features some gang vocals in the chorus, the third and last song, "Skinning Service" has some variation in the vocals, becoming more shrieky and less growly, is an ok song also.

Three songs, nothing impressive, but not awful either, makes you wonder why Calmsite has so many releases and no contract yet, these guys need to work harder on their compositions, and they need to add and extra dose of creativeness when it comes to songwriting.
