"Memorized Dreams" come from Norway. This is one other new power metal band? Yeah you know like me that there is a ton of them actually... But you'll see with that review that Memorized Dreams have done something more than interesting. Why Certainly because this guys understand that we can only do great stuff if we really work hard on it. And "Theater Of Life" is without any doubt synonym of work.

A lot of really good songs, an excellent production, a great cover [again] of JP. Fournier, some great guest like Olaf Hayer "vocal" [Luca Turilli] or Olav Skei "drums" [Divided Multitude], guest musicians from Trondheim's Symphonic Orchestra on choir and cellos and violins? are the ingredients of this good album.
When I talk about work we see here that we have work. This album is well done and because this guys "took time" to do it, at the end we don't have that bad feeling, you know the one when you buy an album and say after 3 mins of listening "damm my poor money?".
And for sure the work is the great point of the album. The musicians of "Memorized Dreams" are not the best on earth, the guitars and bass are good but classic, the vocals are also nice, with some female backing vocals sometime, but not the most original too. But well this is honest and in my opinion with this album this band could become certainly one of the leaders of the Power Metal scene from Norway.
A lot of songs are very catchy with good Power riff and also good melodies but some others maybe more boring maybe because they are less original, this is certainly due to the lack of experience of this young band, but believe me in general it's good to listen "Memorized Dreams".

The production is great, a perfect sound and as I said before choirs, great guests, an orchestra which give a lot of power to the songs, and I must congratulate the band for the choice of my compatriot JP. Fournier for the cover. This guy rock and I will take this sentence of the singer of a band, that I interviewed a few time ago and who also have a cover of JP. Fournier: "It's a fact that working with one of the best and famous designer is good for us. You can't miss our CD in the store !" Nothing to say more, we can only congratulate the bands who work with such artists and the end it's just great for us?

As a conclusion I will recommend this album for all the fans of Power metal. It's well done, oki maybe not very original sometime, but at the end we feel that this cd is done with heart and for me it's the principal.
"Memorized Dreams" is more than honest and with some more maturity, they could produce something really excellent in the future. This band must be follow for sure some good surprise will come with them soon? A very good newcomer, Power Metal fans, go to buy this cd !!!
