This is really strange against everything else I have reviewed, it's not like anything else, it's so strange.
And to explain what genre it is, that's hard, at least with just some words, so I'll try down here instead of in the beginning.
The music is strange, as mention, and the vocals is too, but let's start with the music, that feels like a mix between Freak Kitchen rock, a little punk and typical radio rock, not really hard rock in anyway.
And for the vocals, it's strange to, but it's easier to explain, since vocals often are different from band to band. There isn't anyone that's close enough to compare Gerald too, he is quite original.

Dorothy Sanchez that was formed in France in 2003 has got a short but quite successful career behind them already, they are signed, they have released their debut and they are on tour, what more can a band ask for? Except worldwide fame and groupies, of course.
Anyway, they are signed by the American label Volcom and they recorded this debut in Los Angeles with the producer Steve Kravac (Blink 182, Less Than Jake), and as you might get now, this isn't about hard rock in anyway, it's Rock, you know radio rock, Pop rock, Pop Punk, what ever.

So this might not be the usual stuff that ends up on MS, I know, but if we get it, we at least shall listen to it, if contains something ok, it at least deserve a review on the site, and Dorothy Sanchez contains something that really caught my attention.
The lyrics is one factor, they are quite funny, just look at the song titles; they'll give you a clue.
But musically, they have some ideas they would have worked on a hard rock album too, I'm sure of that, and with including guitar work that's close to the famous alternative rockers Freak Kitchen, they might just snap one of two fans of that band too.

There are some songs that caught my attention a little more than others, it's first they third one ("Motorcycle, Party and Fuck"), where we for the first time hear a different kind of vocals, a screamy one, yes you saw right, a screamy one, and that's another reason why this reviews is ending up on MS.
Then it's "Home Work" that got some good riffs and the two following songs, "Man at Work" and "King of the World" that once again have the screamy vocals, that's very good.

But I shall not talk anymore now, I leave the rest up to you, if you dare, check them up at least, you might find something different and maybe you'll like it too, it's worth a try.
Personally I think it's ok, there are some parts that very good, the screamy vocals for example, but the overall impression just ok, not really my kind of music.

Check Out: "Motorcycle, Party And Fuck", "Home Work", "Man at Work" & "King of the World".
